The Locations field is a custom field available to assign to each copy of a book. This field can be turned off if this is not used in your classroom library. If the field is turned on and custom values for location have been entered on the Preferences page in Your Account, then you will have the ability to assign locations to your titles.
To assign locations to the titles in your library, choose Book Quantities, Locations, & Conditions and then Edit next to the copy of the title you would like to assign a location.
Once a location has been chosen select Save. You will then notice the location you chose will be listed in the Location column of that particular copy.
